After finishing my master’s degrees in International Journalism and English I now work as media analyst for CFF Communications. My passions include doing research, writing, and editing.
My journalism thesis was about online communication as a legitimate form of protest. To research this I looked at the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag to see the ways in which African-American protest jumped to mainstream media via Twitter. I wrote my English thesis about the author Katherine Mansfield and the way in which feminist theory works in the actual practice of writing and publishing biographies.
I was a journalist for the St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland in May 2017. I got to question business men, female politicians, and scientists about anything to do with ‘disruption.’ In 2015 and 2016 I interned for Radio 1 and Elsevier (economy). During my studies I was editor-in-chief for 2 student publications (a radio production and a digital magazine) and worked on developing my own voice and experimenting with forms of storytelling.
